Who we are

We are Glossop Leisure Homes, part of Glossop Caravans situated in the High Peak, Derbyshire with customers all over the UK. Glossop Caravans has been supplying touring caravans, mobile homes (static caravans) and motorhomes to our customers for over 40 years. 

The company has a well-deserved reputation for excellence in customer service and is a member of the NCC; with 2 state of the art workshops for predelivery inspections and for servicing and repair, after sales care is our priority.

At Glossop Leisure Homes our job is to supply static caravans, touring caravans and motorhomes for rental purposes. We are able to draw on the expertise and knowledge and resources of our sister company. We have over 300 touring caravans, static caravans and motorhomes ready to go at a moment’s notice.

What we do

We provide quality touring caravans, static caravans and motorhomes for use as alternative accommodation anywhere in the UK following domestic disasters.

One of the greatest benefits of using a touring caravan, static caravan or motorhome as alternative accommodation is that it can be placed close to the damaged property. This provides easy access to check on progress as well as maintain contact with the neighbourhood, schools and work, causing less disruption.

With a huge range of accommodation to choose from we can find the perfect fit for each individual situation and tailor the details to meet the needs of the clients.

Whether the accommodation is required for a few weeks or many months we can provide an immediate solution and support it by ongoing care.

How we do it

  • Liaise with insurers and loss adjusters to establish clients’ needs
  • Share information required to provide the most suitable vehicle
  • Carry out a free site and access survey where necessary
  • Assess any mobility access needs – ramped access can be provided on static caravans
  • Provide images of the vehicle selected and obtain approval from the client
  • Carry out a thorough vehicle inspection and preparation prior to despatch
  • Agree delivery dates with client and deliver the vehicle to the required location
  • Provide full installation services and connect to mains supplies where possible
  • All work is carried out by fully qualified fitters and Gas Safe engineers
  • Provide continuing customer support throughout the hire period
