The Discovery Plus D4-4 is a four-berth caravan built around lightness and simplicity. With an unladen weight of 1,102kg and an MTPLM of 1,248kg, it is designed to be towable by a wide range of everyday cars, which makes it an accessible route into caravanning for first-time buyers. Four Berths from a Dinette Conversion Rather than dedicating floor space to a fixed bed, the D4-4 converts its dinette into sleeping accommodation. That keeps the caravan short and light while still sleeping four. End Washroom Placing the washroom at the rear keeps facilities self-contained and separate from the living and sleeping areas. Light Towing Weight At 1,248kg MTPLM with 146kg of payload, the D4-4 sits comfortably within the towing limits of many mid-size family cars. Compact Dimensions An external length of 7.15 metres and a 2.23 metre body width keep the caravan manageable on site and in storage. Straightforward Layout With a flexible dinette conversion and a rear washroom, the interior is easy to understand and quick to set up, which is a genuine advantage for anyone new to touring. For first-time buyers and those wanting a genuinely light four-berth, the Discovery Plus D4-4 offers practical accommodation without demanding a large tow car.
