This August, Glossop Caravans is opening its doors every weekend for a month packed with huge offers, delicious food, live music, family entertainment and expert advice.
Our Open Weekends begin on Saturday 8th August and continue throughout the month, including a three-day event over the Bank Holiday weekend. Whether you are looking for your next caravan or motorhome, want to upgrade your awning and accessories or simply fancy an enjoyable family day out, there will be plenty to see and do.
We will be open from 10am until 5pm, giving you plenty of time to browse our extensive stock, explore the latest products in our on-site shop and speak with our knowledgeable caravan and motorhome specialists.
Children, dogs, friends and family members are all welcome!
Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August
Our first Open Weekend will get August off to a fantastic start with entertainment for the whole family.
DJ Jazzy Jeff will be providing the soundtrack throughout both days, creating a lively atmosphere while you browse our caravans, motorhomes and accessories.
Face painting will be available on both Saturday and Sunday, alongside a talented caricature artist who can create a memorable illustration for you to take home.
On Sunday, visitors will also be able to enjoy freshly prepared food from Andy’s Pizza’ere, followed by an ice cream while exploring everything available across the site.
It is the perfect opportunity to bring the family, enjoy the entertainment and take a closer look at our wide selection of new and used vehicles.
Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August
The entertainment continues during our second Open Weekend, with even more food and family activities planned.
On Saturday, Matt’s Plaice Chippy will be joining us, serving up a selection of traditional favourites throughout the day. There will also be face painting, along with appearances from a magician and caricature artist.
On Sunday, visitors can enjoy ice cream while watching our magician perform and having their own caricature created. Face painting will once again be available.
DJ Jazzy Jeff will be with us from on both days, so you can enjoy music, refreshments and entertainment while browsing our stock.
Something Special Is Coming on 22nd and 23rd August
We have some exciting plans in place for the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August, created in partnership with one of our leading manufacturers.
We are keeping the details under wraps for now, but it promises to be a very special weekend.

Bank Holiday Open Weekend: 29th–31st August
We will be finishing the month in style with a special three-day Bank Holiday Open Weekend.
The event will run on Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August, giving you even more opportunities to visit.
On Saturday, Matt’s Chippy will be serving food, while younger visitors can enjoy face painting and entertainment from our magician.
Sunday will feature freshly prepared food from Andy’s Pizza’ere, alongside more magical entertainment for the whole family.
On Bank Holiday Monday, Smokermotive will be joining us with a fantastic selection of food, while our caricature artist will be creating personalised drawings for visitors.
DJ Jazzy Jeff will provide music across all three days, helping us end our August events with a brilliant Bank Holiday atmosphere.
